Starting from 2022, ZEMIC initiated strain gauge technical updates and product upgrades, switching the backing material from modified-Phenolic to Polyimide-film. The Polyimide-film backing strain gauges obtain good feedback from users.

Based on the above reasons, from October 20th, 2023, ZEMIC will focus on the production and sale of Polyimide-film backing strain gauges, and modified-Phenolic backing strain gauges will no longer be available.
